Mondays: Awakening the Soul and Union of Three Hearts Meditation

with Marybeth Johnson

Monday classes on hold as Marybeth travels.  Look here for next start dates.

Monday mornings

9:30-10:30 am

$15 single class

When the Heart is open, it possesses the qualities of willingness and suppleness, of having a natural sense of wonder and freedom from fear. As these qualities grow and develop, as the heart opens, one can return to the origin, to breathe the original breath and become one with the pulse of the universe. This qigong has the power to achieve this. When the soul is awakened, one’s life becomes inspired, and doubt and worry cease to exist.

This class is open to beginners and is taught comfortably seated in a chair.

Heart Mind as One

Wednesdays: 9:30 am to 10:30 am

Weekly in November and December 2017

$15 single class

Heart Mind as One, a standing form of Sheng Zhen Gong.  This qigong is for calming the disposition. A calm disposition has no worries and is able to nurture qi. A calm disposition is empty; it has no cares. Qi is in harmony and the body is in balance. This qigong is both moving and non-moving. The physical movements are for cultivating qi. The inner stillness is to bring you back to the heart. When the physical movements have ceased, your Heart experiences its original purity. It is then that you are released from your past confusions and difficulties.

and

Heaven Earth Gong,  a seated form of Sheng Zhen Gong. This practice is for self-cultivation and Heart nourishment, to help one obtain long-lasting happiness. This form creates a blissful state.

All levels welcome.

Heaven Nature Gong, a standing form, gifts the practitioner with the experience of the sacredness of one’s body. As the qi flows through the body through the practice, little by little, it does its work of opening the Heart of the practitioner, releasing the blockages, dissolve physical and emotional pain. Enjoy the graceful standing movements and see your body as a boat carrying you on a journey of discovering the meaning and joy of life.  Through the practice of Heaven Nature Gong, invite Love and qi to nourish the true self. As with all standing forms, the movements may be modified for sitting.
